Ben died yesterday… June 2, 2008

For those of you who have read my “About me” page and know about Ben, our Golden Retriever, there is sad news.

Yesterday Ben died suddenly during a vet visit. It was totally unexpected and devastating. He was such a constant, comforting presence in the house that it feels empty here now, and very lonely. I still can’t believe he’s gone. I don’t think I can say anymore about it right now.

    Oh Neil, I just saw this. I am so very sorry. It’s like losing a child. We have 7 dogs now. We lost our 8th dog on March 31st, 2008. I’m really sorry for you both. Beckie xx
